From humble beginnings as a coastal community to its heyday as a fashionable seaside resort, journey through Folkestone's history at the town's museum.

Located in the newly-restored Town Hall, Folkestone Museum explores Folkestone's past through fashion, the frontline, maritime, nature and ancient history.

Temporary exhibitions are hosted in a dedicated space located on the lower ground floor throughout the year, as well as special activity days and workshops for all ages.
